Design your website: build the home page and pages from sections
Guides· 3 min read
Hero image, properties, benefits, figures, contact and more – arrange by dragging, show and hide, no HTML.
Design the home page
Website → Design home page opens the home page of your website. It is made of sections that you arrange freely:
Add section picks a type: hero image, properties, places, text with image, benefits, figures, reviews, agents, FAQ, blog, call to action, contact, map or text.
Click a section to expand it. Enter texts per language; empty headings show the website’s standard text.
Drag sections to another place with the arrow icon; the copy icon duplicates a section.
Under Display choose the background (normal, light, brand colour) and spacing. Hide section removes it from the website without deleting it.
Save – the website is rebuilt automatically shortly afterwards.
Good to know
The home page was prefilled with the previous sections, so your website looks unchanged until you change something.
The first hero image carries the main heading of the page (important for search engines). The website orders all other headings correctly by itself.
Properties, places, agents, FAQ and blog always come up to date from ImotDesk – you only choose filters and number.
The map only loads when a visitor clicks “Show map”; approximate locations are shown as a circle.
Other pages under Website → Pages can get sections too. Without sections a page shows its text as before.
Suggestions and versions
Sections → Apply suggestion replaces the sections with a ready-made suggestion: Coastal agency, New-build projects or Rentals. Then adjust texts and images.
Before every change of the sections the previous version is saved. Under Sections → Versions you bring back one of the last 10 versions.
Template
The template (Classic, Modern, Luxury) defines header, footer, property cards, spacing and the suggested fonts. It is set in the website design; your colours and fonts still apply.
Preview
Preview at the top of the page form saves the page and builds the preview without changing the published website. After about a minute, Open preview opens the page in a new window.
A note at the top of the form shows whether your changes are not yet in the preview or not yet published on the website. Publishing is done with Rebuild website now under Website → Settings (or automatically if your website is set up that way).
Drafts appear neither on the website nor in the preview.
Create with AI
If the AI assistant is switched on, there are additional buttons:
Sections → Create with AI: describe in a few sentences what the page should say. The assistant suggests suitable sections with texts in all languages of your website – replacing the existing ones or added below.
On every section: Translate texts of this section (into the other languages) and Improve texts of this section (all filled languages).
The result is only in the form. Check the texts and click Save; nothing is published automatically. The assistant does not invent figures, awards or reviews – you choose images and selections (places, agents, FAQ) yourself.
